Multiple SSID’s or HomeKit Secure Router?

Post Body

I’m debating between switching over to either an Eero 6 or an Orbi Pro 6. The Orbi Pro 6 can have 4 separate SSID’s but it is not a HomeKit Secure Router where the Eero is.

Most of my devices are not HomeKit native but instead bridged into HomeKit through HomeBridge.

So, that being said, I have 2 questions.

1) Would my non-HomeKit native devices exposed by HomeBridge even benefit from the HomeKit Secure Router features?

2) Would having IoT devices on a separate SSID be more secure and have faster speed/less latency?

Weirdly enough, I have a second Orbi router. (I bought it used and instead of a router and 2 satellites it was two routers and a satellite 😂.

I will have to see if I can use the second router like you did! That would be perfect!
