I recently got a HomeKit compatible camera the Eufy e220. Had a lot of issues getting it setup into HomeKit and finally figured out that the only way to get it to work is if my Apple TV is also on the 2.4ghz WiFi and not the 5ghz. The eufy only connects to 2.4. This isnโt ideal obviously, the Apple TV now buffers all too frequently which is annoying. Is this normal? Iโd really like to get the Apple TV back on the 5ghz WiFi. Should I get a HomePod mini and put it in the 2.4ghz to act as the hub so I can put the Apple TV back on the 5ghz?
