14 November 2023 the seemingly promising competitor called Play from accessory maker Eve will commence to despatch. On the product page the digital-to-analogue converter it will contain is by Texas Instruments with model number of PCM5122A with a signal-to-noise ratio of 112dB. To me that is almost impressive.. My question for they whom know for a surety is: what digital-to-analogue converter is contained in the Belkin SoundForm Connect Audio? Since it was available for pre-order I had one and it is in full effect as composure of this post continues. I am quite curious how the chips compare. I am always trying to improve the sonic quality of anything that comes out of my ADAM Audio 2.1 monitors and although it is non-traditional for a wireless receiver to be connected to studio monitors I made it work with a Focusrite audio interface and Alva optical cable. If the chip in the Eve Play is superior then I anticipate even more to procure once available. If inferior – which I am sceptical – then I will not procure. Thanks in advance.
