Unable to connect Nanoleaf essentials thread to homekit

I am having a terrible experience with my first matter device. I guess this is what I get for being an early adopter.

I purchased the Nanoleaf Essentials A19 Bulbs and have not been able to connect them to homekit. I was able to get one bulb into homekit one time when I completly reset my apple tv, and deleted my home. From there, I wasn't able to get more than one bulb added.

It pairs well in the Nanoleaf app and then when I try to connect it to Apple Homekit through matter, it always gives me an accessory error.

Does anyone have any clue on this?? Here's what I've done

Reset wifi

Reset Apple Tv

Reset Home

Tried on two phones

Reset bulbs many many times
