How to fix large transition between flooring and carpet?
Post Body

So I just had new carpet installed and they didn’t add a transition pieces but instead did some sort of tuck method and now there’s a 1/2-3/4” gap between my flooring/carpet and it’s not the most comfortable to step on. Would a reducer transition piece help fix this? And would you recommend gluing the reducer on top of the flooring or cut a gap and use the track to click it into place?
