Need advice on wether to fix concrete floor crack or cover with carpet
Post Body

So I ripped up the old carpet in my living room today as I was gonna do vinyl plank flooring throughout the living room. The floor is a concrete slab and I checked if it was level, and everything checked out besides this 8’ long by 3” crack along the wall leading outside. The crack is raised about 1/4” to 3/8” and I was wondering if it was worth it to clean up and patch/level with concrete or to just replace with new carpet and hide it? I’ve never done concrete repair but can’t imagine it’s too difficult floor crack
