Dryer is warm to touch with a slight burning smell
Post Body

Hey y'all, I've had a recent bit of trouble with my dryer lately. Here's the scoop:

I recently got my old washer and dryer out of my storage, they've been sitting in AC storage for about 13 months, and they both worked fine before that.

I was able to wash my clothes, but my dryer seems to have some trouble. At first, there was an immediate burning smell, but it's seem to have gone away after putting it on Delicates mode for about 10 minutes. I could only imagine it was due to lint sitting on the heating element.

Now it seems like there's a LOT of heat coming from it. Not to the point where it hurts, but like there's warm exhaust coming from it. I've checked the vent outside, and there IS airflow, but it's cool, not warm. Does this sound like a blocked vent? What should I check out?
