My fridge has been going strong for years, but in the last couple weeks the ice production is severely limited. I'm a DIYer and wouldn't mind opening things up and poking around, but I'm not sure what the issue would be. The cubes are full size when they come out, so I don't think its a water flow issue. The pusher arm moves freely (I can move it with my hand with some force to spin the gears on the motor. It doesn't seem there are any stripped gears, doesn't seem stuck anywhere in there. The freezer is set to -1F and I've turned on extreme ice production. Are there sensors that might be faulty, or could the motor be slower turning than normal?
