Cupboards or dining space?
Post Body

So we're currently in the process of buying a new house to give ourselves an extra bedroom. Our current place has 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and 3 small cupboards. New place has an extra bedroom, 2 okay sized cupboards and one small cupboard.

With 5 people we'd quite like space to put a proper dining table rather than eating on our laps each night and been talking about the idea of taking out the 2 okay sized cupboards that are right off the kitchen to make a dining area.

However we're hoping to only be here 2 or 3 years and could probably live without the dining space if removing the cupboards would negatively affect reselling.

Husband and I keep going round and round and back and forth on this so I'm asking for other opinions. Should we keep the cupboards and storage space or make a little dining nook?
