Does anyone have advice on updating driveways?

Hello, I’m looking for some advice as I bought my first home last year & the driveway is a wreck. I honestly think it hasn’t been modified in any way at all since the house was built in 1986.

Here’s the issue: it’s a “gravel” driveway, which is looking more and more like part of the lawn as time goes on. There’s even a tomato plant growing at the end of it...I have no idea how that happened!

I know paving would cost a lot & I don’t have the money for that. I was thinking it’s probably best to have gravel delivered, but I was wondering if any of you guys have knowledge or some tips/suggestions that would help.
