What to do about these scratches in hardwood
Post Body

So I’m uncovering all the hardwoods in my house which was built in the mid-late 60s. They’re in amazing shape.

The front room has been recarpeted once. I’m finding these scratches along one edge of the room: https://imgur.com/gallery/R6DbpzC

I can see them but can’t really feel them.

Any idea what that’s from? But more importantly do I need to sand that and then stain and seal ? If so does that mean I’ll need to do the entire floor?

Thanks.
