So, I know I have to repoint my basement, I know I have to re-apply a sealing coat over all of that once I’m done.
That’s going to be a summer project, however, there are a lot of holes in my own basement than I can legitimately find. I can feel air drafts coming in from a few spots in the basement, and I’m wondering if anyone knows of a way to air/water seal a basement with maybe a gas diffusing method that would clog up all those holes in a single sitting?
I’ve done some research online and I see a few possible options. I’m mostly looking to see if anyone has any personal experience or suggestions on the matter.
Otherwise I’m just going to be looking around and filling in possible cracks with expanding foam for the time being until I get to the real work over the summer.
