In wall shelves as temporary step to removing chimney.
Post Body

This is a two-stepper. I plan to tear out the defunct chimney in the 1947 bungalow. But I can’t do it until next year. So I removed the wall to see the exact condition and placement of it. I plan to put shelves in the hole for a ressed liquor cabinet (shelves for booze). Here’s what I have so far.

As you can see, I had to remove an outlet. It was in the middle of the wall anyway so no biggie. But I do want to put it closer to the floor, or make it a light for the shelves. Ideas?

One thing I should mention too, my boyfriend owns the house and he is away camping for the week. I need to get this done in three days!
