Help Shortening a Gas Line
Post Body
I recently bought a new stove and the gas line out from the wall is too long for the stove to sit all the way back (picture attached).
My plan was to take the existing valve off, and run a 90 degree black iron coupler up and add a brass shutoff to that 90. From there, Iād take the stainless nut and apply it to the brass shutoff.
First time home owner so any advice is appreciated.
Edit: the way the range is designed gives room for upward expansion but I still need to measure to make sure it fits.
