HELP - Epoxy/Polyurethane concrete floors in house
Post Body

Hoping someone can help me here as I'm a little stuck. We were looking to do a polished concrete look in our house as the previous owners had old tiles and carpets. I ran out of time to do it myself, so got a 'professional' to do it. They messed up with the stain initially and floors were patchy black, then I got them to sand it back again and just epoxy without stain. It doesn't look too bad, but now they messed up the edges/borders. We went black polyurethane to cover the patches from carpets. They didn't finish it well or even bother to fill the holes in the concrete from the carpet nails. Options? - Tiling over may be tough since I don't think you can tile straight over epoxy - Carpets and Floating floors are an option, but not really something we're too keen on. - Any thoughts or ideas about doing a tinted Polyurethane over the floor or any other creative ideas that ideally limit the dust, etc in the house? Any help would be appreciated.
