Installing a battery backup sump pump
Post Body

Hey guys, so I had flooding problems in my basement two years ago. I did A LOT of work in my basement (I will be making a separate post for when it is finished). But I'm in the process of changing insurance companies and I am told to get the coverage I want I need to get a battery backup sump pump put into the basement instead of just a normal sump. My question is how easy are they to install? My plumber says I should be able to do it. I'm just looking for some feedback from you guys if you've ran into any problems with them. The pump I was told to get was a Liberty Pump model 441. And my sump pit is an actual unit that my weeping tile runs into. I don't have the make or model for the pit with me (I'm at work). Sorry for the wall of text. Thanks for any feedback.
