I am purchasing the home from a seller. The original builder is David Weekley. After inspection, we would an area of the wood floor is uneven. It is inclined about 2.1 deg from right to left. See picture. I raised this concern with the seller and asked him to fix it. He forwarded the same request to the builder. Today, the builder came back and they have not had a chance to check it out, but if it is under warranty, they will definitely fix it. That doesn't really answer much TBH. The option period ends today and I need to make a decision before midnight. Please help!
My questions:
- From your experience with David Weekley, is this issue usually covered by the warranty?
- If I hire a contractor to fix the issue, how much would it cost? Will it be above $750?
