Should any of our interior doors have locks on them?

My wife and I disagree on this. She thinks bathroom/bedroom doors need locks for guest privacy.
However, while we don't have kids yet, I feel having lockable doors might be a safety hazard once we do.
Growing up, our family always had doors with locks but we weren't allowed to use them for this reason.
