So when I bought the house, during closing one of the movers (previous owners) knocked out a carport post. I got them to make an adjustment for the post repair, but Iām finding it difficult to find a replacement post. Iām thinking of digging out the original concert base and using a Quikrete tube to pour and refill the hole, and then placing the post inside of it. Iām having difficulty sourcing a post that is similar in style, and aside from using the strongest concrete possible and the tube, is there anything else I should be doing? Pictures in the comments for reference.
