Easiest way to cover these spots that didn't get painted?

Hi! Brand spanking new to DIY, and bought a bit of a run-down house (liveable condition, just visually shabby) that spent 25 years being a college rental. It needs some work.
My partner painted this room while I was away for a few days, and the painters tape they had on the doorframes overlapped the wall a little bit so there are visible lines of the old color framing the doors and windowsills.
Easiest way to fix this and to avoid it happening in the future? They want to go at it by hand with tiny paintbrushes and I feel like there might be a more efficient way to tackle this.
