I think he is correct, but I figured I will try asking here before giving up completely. We have an older stacked Maytag laundry center and for added insurance, I want to install one of those plastic drain pans underneath. From the way that unit is built, it seems like it would be impossible to get both pieces installed in the drain pan properly. The washer fits below and inside the dryer, making it impossible to lift a washer over the pan and slide it in. Maybe there is a way to install it that I am just unaware of?
