My first post here, first time home owner.
I recently had a pipe burst when it hit -18, it flooded my kitchen, livingroom, and back room where the heater/hot water/inside oil tank are.
Kitchen and livingroom are all set, I'm looking for some advice on the back room. The flooring is a cement slab and before the water damage it had some kind of thicker black almost rubbery paint on it? I'm not sure what it is, but rubbery paint is the best I can come up with for what it was? It bubbled up from the water damage, and I'd like to replace it with the same kind of rubbery paint it had before, or completely open to suggestions on the flooring for it as it held up well until the water damage.
It's not a very heavy traffic area, but I'd like something that will last that doesn't have to be "beautiful". I'm aiming for functional for this room not fashionable. I'd like to not spend a fortune as it's just a back room, but I can't begin to estimate a price since I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for.
Thank you in advance. 🙂
