DIY shower tiling
Post Body

Hi all, I'm renovating master bedroom bathroom and I'm to the point to waterproof and tile and I have couple of questions. Thanks in advance 1. I'm planning to put redgard as waterproofing membrane. Is there a time limit between putting regard on and starting to tile? I saw some people mentioned you have 72 hours to tile for best results (not really sure if this is practical) 2. Between wet saw, tile cutter, and angle grinder I was thinking of getting the last two, however, the shower wall tiles have uneven surface. Would tile cutter be necessary? Shower floor are hexagon stone material. Can I do everything with just an angle grinder? If so, any advice on angle grinder for the best results are appreciated. 3. The shower is relatively big (more than 200sqft of wall surface devided between 3 walls), do I need to tile all walls in 1 day? 4. Do I need to grout right after the thinset are dry? Like, is there a time limit between tiling and grouting for the best results?
