screw-less Faucet tap spinning (stripped) and stuck on
Post Body

Hey all I’m trying to fix a tap in my bathroom which stripped last night meaning it will spin closed and then continue spinning back open causing it to leak instead of going tight. My tap is screw less so I just take the handle off and then unscrew the housing to get cartridge so I can’t take it to the hardware store to get a new one right? Well the housing is completely stuck on and I’m also wondering how I actually fix this issue as it’s my first time in the plumbing world. 1. is there any way I can get the bloody thing off? 2. How should I go about doing the repair? I’ll attach a photo, the only part that screws off is the maroon bell not the gold strip on the bottom. the tap
