So, I'm at CVS last night getting my booster (arm hurts.like hell this morning, btw). My appt was at 8 and I arrived at 730. I'm sitting in waiting area, when some awful Karen comes in: AK: "I need the prescription for Smith" Pharmacy assistant: "Yes Ma'am, we are a bit behind right now, its gonna be about 30 mins" AK: " 30 minutes?!?!! I've been on hold for two hours, transferred to 3 different departments, what the hell are you doing back there?? I'm in a hurry!" I laid into this bitch. Me:" Hey, hey you. Yes, you. What the hell is your problem? Cant you see this waiting room is full of people? You think you're special?" AK:" this is ridiculous, I've called 4 times, and..." Me:"So why didnt you come in earlier? They are understaffed. EVERYBODY IS UNDERSTAFFED. You think you're the only one in a hurry? Its Xmastime and people are getting scripts and shots. You think we're sitting here because we have nothing better to do?!? AK: I cant get ANYBODY to help me, its unbeliev-" Me: "You wanna know why they are understaffed? Because no one wants to deal with people like YOU!"

Lady next to me chuckled loudly, another guy shook his head and smiled. And the pharmacy clerk came to thank me after she left.

Eff these people. We gotta stand up to these assholes, because the CVS employees can't.
