So this guy comes into the paint department and wants this dark brown OOPS paint to be turned into a lighter brown. We’re not allowed to tint the oops paint once it’s on the shelf one , two it’s a deep base paint and the light brown he wants is at least a medium or even white base , and three there isn’t even any room in the gallon. He holds up my line arguing with me , telling me to just pour some out until I dismiss him saying “I can help who’s next” so he demands to see my manager. I call my manager and he tells me to just pour some of the paint out and tint it for the guy. I tell him the whole “we can’t tint the OOPS and it’s a deep base “ he doesn’t care. The whole time I’m tinting it my manager and the guy are standing there cracking jokes and stuff while I have at least 5-6 more people waiting and then the guy SMIRKS at me when he walks away with the paint. I’m just so infuriated.
