My store has nearly no one in the departments on any given day and the customers don’t help.
I work at service desk mainly but I’m trained in like 4 other departments so I’m scheduled all around. On an average day I’m lucky if we have 3 people at the desk. Half the time we don’t have anyone scheduled around the store even though we have the employees.
My store manager says it is because corporate won’t give funding to pay all those employees but what ends up happening is we get lines out the door and a million phone calls and it’s driving me insane.
I’m tempted to just walk out one of these days.
This job is not worth the stress it gives me and neither is the company.
