I’m sure this doesn’t matter but in my state of Washington. Weed is legal. I was hired at Home Depot without an initial drug test. But now that I’m getting certified on equipment I just took my drug test. (The swab that has to turn blue) I took an edible on Tuesday (this is Thursday morning). I am normally a daily smoker at home to unwind and go to bed (but have a sinus infection so was taking a break from smoking while I heal) my question is, if I come back positive for Marijuana what is going to happen? I don’t want to ask to raise any suspicion but I don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I’m on the MET team and I spoke with my supervisor about it. We were able to get the test pulled before it was shipped. And I am told I can re-take the rest when I am more comfortable.

Some clarifying details, I have 0 idea about the testing and was going to be certified today. One of my team members asked about it and I was just pushed into the room without being given an option to take it some other time to begin with.
