I've worked for THD for 3 years next month, I've done at least a little of everything except specialty sales, I've mixed paint, cut pipe, carpet, wire, keys, chain, rope, and lumber, I'm a Backup cashier, I've helped freight unload trucks, I've pulled orders, and I can direct customers to products from memory. I've worked inventory prep, and the only machine I don't have the knowledge to operate safely is the EPJ. So, I feel entitled to a little consideration, and maybe even some respect from my DS... I feel like everyone working in one of our stores deserves common courtesy, so when my DS says I'm doing things wrong or too slow, and threatens a Manager's note, on the sales floor, I feel like he's treating me like a toddler. The biggest problem with the situation, is that he's younger than I am... Being treated like a disrespecting child, by someone who is younger, faster, and doesn't see the hurt.... Just fkn sucks. I know how to correctly wrap pallets, and ultimately I know how to do my damn job, so don't tell me I did it wrong when wrapping a pallet requires the ability to count to 3, twice, and make sure the plastic covers everything securely... Don't tell me my bottom wraps are too ... Clear... To be 3 layers thick. I wrapped delivery orders for over a year, and only had a load failure once, because the pallet was moved to the flat truck when I wrapped it for the box.
