Putting two pieces of art on either side of the TV

If you are putting two pieces of art, say, a canvas, on both the left side and right side of a TV in the living room, should the artwork be the exact same size? So if we have one canvas that measures 20 x 25 to the left of the TV, should the artwork on the right side of the TV be also 20 x 25? The wall sizes are the same size.
