Repainting an inherited house - Nyhavn Copenhagen colors

Hi all, I am inheriting a house that is mostly light tans or browns. I visited Copenhagen last year and loved the colors of the Nyhavn area. Mostly bright but not too bright. If anyone does not know the area here is a link to pics of it.

I am still cleaning the house out so not a huge hurry on this. And I will be honest I don't know exactly what I want. But I loved those colors. Any suggestions? What might be good for different rooms? 2 for the kitchen so the cabinets stand out?

If this isn't the perfect place for this any other suggestions?
