Idk if silksong spoilers exist yet, but in the vaguest read the game description way there would be a spoiler for that.

Like when you get into the lore there are just a lot of uncertainties, but the developers know. Like you can say that we should wait for silksong and that’s fair, but since we’re leaving hallownest probably I don’t trust it to clear a lot of things up. The other thing is “well it’s a story that even the developers themselves are leaving open in themselves and for us” but I really don’t think that’s how this works. Like you are way more likely to fuck something up if it’s canonically and completely unexplained, so for most major things theres probably something that is true, but that we’ll just never know maybe.
