Hey everyone so I got the head out and cleaned it and lightly sanded with a wire brush in The mating areas so it’s ready for reassembly.
Anything else should I be doing ?? And I need to get new hoses for the left head as the old ones are so brittle and legit broke off and I’m wondering what that hose port thing is meant for ??? (In the pic) I kinda forgot where it was meant to go.
Also rust has formed on the other head that ive cleaned, so I sprayed it with wd40 hoping it doesn’t get worse. Is that ok ?
Also which way do I install the head gaskets as there’s no real instruction on what side they are meant to go on. I’m going to upload pics of the new gaskets. Hopefully someone can correct me.
And the transmisión dips stick fell off is that ok ???? I couldnt avoid it while removing the head as it was a b….h to remove.
