My therapist wants me to join a team
Post Body

I'm 27. TL;DR-- I am not too keen on being in a sport team or anything like that buuuut I'm open to ideas. Even sport ideas.

I was trying to think of non-sport teams and came up with only a few. I thought maybe D&D might be cool but it's not easy finding a group... A trivia group? But usually those are at bars and I'm trying to stop drinking. I thought joining a book club might work too but that's not really a team is it. (I might do that anyway because I want to meet a friend, I'm lonely.) I like cycling and would join a group but again that's not a team...

I'm guessing my therapist wants me to join a team so I can learn how to trust other people and feel good about myself for being reliable in turn. Or idk!!! The last time I was on a team I was a child playing baseball and I did not see myself as part of the team (maybe bc I was the only "girl.") So I don't really know what kind of lessons there are to learn!
