Slow adventure map movement speed

Does anybody else feels especially sluggish with the new game? I mean the travel distance is just so so short. Ever since Heroes 5 movement speed has been slowed down to a significantly. I still can't comprehend the reason why they made it like that, to drag on the game or something? It's not much of an "adventure" when it takes weeks to crawl out of your home
