I’ve seen previous threads on this Reddit about hmong music but I was curious if any hmong folk who listen to music can name some hmong artists or bands who make music with hmong music mixed with other languages. I’m familiar with hmong Americans making hmong / English songs and raps but wanna hear some hmong French or other hmong and other language songs.

I’ve been fascinated by the survival of our people and through the history of our language has adopted others to continue to grow our language over time. Example of this would be the Chinese word for friend is also our hmong word for friend, pengyou. In a lot of hmong American songs and raps there’s a lot of creative ways thinks are constructed which makes it much more complex than songs in just one language.
