Let's say somehow the Union army has a single modern-day recon drone and the ability to recharge it and conduct minor repairs, but not the ability to make more.
How drastically does this change the US Civil War?
Edit: it's only equipped with a camera. Let's say a time traveler dropped off the drone, a manual, and brief instruction on how to use it and do minor repair such as wear and tear and normal maintenance.
A tablet to watch the camera and operate is also supplied with an ability to charge both.
Simply an observation drone.
