Additionally, this newfound trade wealth, alongside two sustainable forms of governance for larger empires, has seen the consolidation of regions into a smaller number of major states, such as the Empires of Java, Dvaravati, Tamraparni, and Akthijah, as well as the rise of a number of wealthy city states such as Balayan.
With so many major players on the regional stage now, as well as escalating proxy violence between the Kulawanti Empire and the Pact of Lupah Sug, the next few centuries are set to be years of great change in Asia. It is simply yet to be seen who will come out on top, and who will be left behind...
