The Aud-Rekit may not have been the most socially organized culture on the planet in the centuries leading up to the Drastic Flood, but that did not mean they were unable to make some important leaps in technological capabilities in that time. One advancement was the cart, wheeled carts made their debut in the Aud-Rekit during this era. Another was the street and highway, paved with stones and gravel, these roads would form intricate webs and connect the villages of the region up until the Drastic Flood. The introduction of domesticated Asian Carp was another advancement that led to far more calories and protein available to the riverside villages of the Aud-Rekit for little labor.
Of course, none of these compare to the effect that the Reinese Rice Terraces would have on the history of this region. The yields of rice on the riverbanks have increased threefold, but not only that, but now the hills can be cultivated! Finally, the steep hills of the region can be farmed, allowing for more food to be widely available than ever before. The Aud-Rekit, for as disorganized as they were, were definitely able to create was major technological breakthroughs during their millennium of existence.
