When the Second Dynasty fell and Ruteq took over, the people of the northern inland territories were quick to throw off the Rynatoonii yoke, even though they themselves spoke Rynatoonii and were used to paying labor taxes.
Well no matter.
Ruteq has ordered the reconquest of this land, this desert in the north, behind the Kaskadii Mountains, and to bring it back into the regular taxation and labors that came with joining the Impirrenship.
