I’m trying to figure out if this would actually be an upgrade or just a lateral sidestep to spend money and not see any significant improvement to IQ or image processing in action scenes
We aren’t unhappy with the current TV and honestly if they’d just released it with a 4k 120hz compatible hdmi i would ride this TV til it died but they didn’t do that
So is the last Toshiba flagship tv made by Hisense the M550 gonna hold its own or is the new u7 have vastly improved image quality due to the new mini led panels and newer image processing and higher 144hz refresh rate
For the time being we mostly game on a ps4 pro and couldn’t do 120hz on it if we wanted but it does 4k60 on the m550 and we can’t necessarily tell the lower refresh rate then
But we watch a lot of hd content on our tv - our previous set was an Sony x850d with stellar IQ and that had similar specs to the m550 but newer android on the m550 which was occasionally an issue on that Sony when updating apps so that update then was clearer with reason
I’m just wondering if I get this new one now will it actually improve anything even if we got a ps5
