[Hire me] I can write a blog article, magazine article, nonfiction book, or chapter/part of a nonfiction book! (Entertainment esp. cartoons and speculative fiction are my main area of expertise, but I can learn about/research any topic.)

Post Body

5 cents per word. My blog serves as my portfolio; as you can see I have written many SEO-friendly articles on a variety of topics, particularly about writing, media, entertainment, movies, etc. But it's my blog; I don't have any paid writing experience yet (but it's a monetized blog that currently earns me about $30-60 a month).

Here hoping to get that (hope to combat the "how to get a job to have experience when you have no experience" Catch-22).

I can write about any topic, with research being a major strength of mine. I am familiar with citation styles in MLA, Chicago, and APA. I'm also good at writing engaging content and knowledgeable about SEO, with an online certificate in it.

I'd like it to be entertainment-related since that's where I have the most experience (especially with tropes and geek culture stuff). But I have no problem researching and educating myself about any other topic, and there are many other things I also happen to be knowledgeable about. I have an undergrad in art history, and a graphic design certificate. So definitely I'd be a good fit for discussing anything in a visual medium.

But - I'll do practically anything just to have some paid experience! Lol.
