Post Body

Hi. What it says above. I'm trying to break into editing as a career.

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rachael-lefler-583b3b75/ Probably contact me on there, not here.

I am willing to work with you on budget. I just want to build my portfolio and say I've gotten x number of paying clients behind me. That way I can approach potential clients in the future on freelancing sites and point to work I've done.

I want to edit fiction and I think I'd be a good fit for anyone whose interests are related to science fiction, fantasy, anime, cartoons, and speculative fiction in general.

I'm into multiple fields so if you're an author, I may also be able to be a cover designer or illustrator for you. I can draw fantasy maps and fantastical creatures like dragons, unicorns, etc.
(I'm also working on my portfolio for that stuff.)

Just contact me and talk about your project and marketing goals for it and so on, and then the budget you have for paying an editor. I'll decide if it's too big or small for the amount of work I'd have to do. I'd like to ask for at least $20 US per hour of work I do, but I can be flexible on payment things as long as I'm paid something. Perhaps we can work out where you give me a partial payment before I work and pay in installments as I turn in a certain amount of edited pages?
