A lot of the rain upstream on the watershed just soaked into the parched ground and didn’t start running off until late this week.
We did see some pretty good flows (slightly above flood stage) on the Llano, and to a much lesser extent, the Pedernales. The Colorado got some but not a lot, and the Colorado also fills Buchanan which is 25’ down and a big enough lake that it takes quite a bit of water to make a difference.
This week was a good start, but we need a lot more to get things back where they need to be.
