Newbie confused about trekking in kasol/kalga etc

Good evening everyone. This is my first post in this forum. I and my friends are planning to visit the awesome places like Kalga/Tosh/Pulga/Kasol/Chalal/Grahan.. This will happen 2 weeks from now, in last week of feb.

We are planning to stay in some homestays.. now im worried as this my first time in homestays and treks. How clean can i expect the washrooms and will drinking water be a scarcity or do we have to refill it from the flowing waterfalls? Please feel free to add if its relevant..
