There was a recent post about Lifetime Diamond so I checked my progress.

I’ll make years Diamond in March.

I’ve got 811 nights and 1.63M basis points.

Trying to figure out which additional milestone I’ll hit first. Hilton states that basis points are calculated per paragraph below:

10 Hilton Honors Base Points for every US dollar spent on your room rate and other eligible room charges

So, I interpret that as it doesn’t include taxes.

If I average 70 nights/year, I wouldn’t hit the nights milestone for 3 years.

If I average $180/night x 70 nights x 10 basis points/$ = 126K basis points/year.

So, it would take me around 3 years to hit that milestone too.

Damn….was the requirement for lifetime diamond just making 10 years Diamond in the past?
