I installed a DS-KIS604-S ip intercom kit, with 2 extra screens in a villa. Everything works great except the intercom refuses to call on hikconnect app. At first I connected a lan cable from the router to the PoE switch supplied in the kit, and the device was saying its offline. The intercom worked but couldnt install on hikconnect app. Now I used the wifi and connected the indoor unit to the wifi which caused l communication problems between screens and the doorbell. The doorbell would ring but no video appeared. During the time the indoor screens were connected on the wifi I managed to install it on hikconnect but the doorbell would not ring. I could see the video when I clicked on the intercom on the app but it would not ring when the button was pressed on the gate.

Any ideas how to get the app to ring when someone rings the doorbell? Do i need to keep it on the wifi to make it work?

At the moment the wifi is disconected and a lan cable from the router to the poe switch is connected. Also to mention is the units dont have a memory card inserted, the 2 extra screens didnt come with one. I believe this isnt an issue.
