Non-Muslim here who is interested in the Hijab for Modesty Sake

Hey all. I wouldn't quite call myself a Muslim but I am deeply interested in the religion. I grew up christian so I know there are some similarities between the religions. I've started reading the quran out of curiosity and I have always loved the kind nature of muslims and the solidarity that they have with each other. Would it be wrong of me or disrespectful to perchance a hijabi and experiment with it?
