I was in the shower and was just thinking about this franchise. Now, sure there is precedent of Satoko becoming a witch of sorts but honestly. She really did all of that crap, she really put all of the charachters under so much misery... because they grew apart? Because she hated studying? She killed herself at least 70 times to open a combination lock. Why not kill herself 5 times to get a passing grade? Why didn't she just sit next to rika at the lunch table to introduce herself? Why was her initial reaction to try to make it out of the flunky class, and then just declare war?! Its ridiculous! I remember the cope i kept repeating to myself last year. "Oh satoko has seperation anxiety or some shit thats why she did it" but honestly, the remake really did ruin what she had. I was going to read the mainline 8 and was considering skipping the 3rd one(which used to be ny favourite) just out of anger and disgust at what direction they took it. Damn! Looking back, Im gonna change my rating, its going down from a 7 to like a 2 on mangadex because i hate it. I'll never watch it again, once was enough. Where does that guy get off on tricking newcomers to watch a show that garbage
