removing makeup on overnights?

Post Body

hi guys! I have my first overnight (first appointment actually) since starting with a high-end agency, tomorrow night. I was previously independent, mid-range, 90% one-hour appointments for the last 2.5 years.

I don't wear a ton of makeup but I am imo not naturally conventionally attractive, so I feel quite ugly without any makeup at all, definitely a far cry from the photos they saw where my makeup was professionally done, fake lashes, hair done, etc (and I'm not comfortable looking so different from the photos in person - my whole brand before was that I look even better in person than the amateur photos I took myself).

So anyway: on overnights (just one night), do you guys take off your makeup or leave it on? I'm particularly interested to hear from people who don't have it caked on (I mean no disrespect, I just mean I know that sometimes if it's a lot then it comes off all over the sheets) and/or don't consider themselves conventionally attractive also.

If you do take it off, how much do you put on again in the morning? like I think we will be both be out of the room by 8am (he has a meeting).

I only want to add that I'm quite confident in person - my internal feelings about how I look do not affect my service, lol.

I โ€œsleepโ€ in mine unless Iโ€™m super comfortable with the client ๐Ÿ˜… thatโ€™s why I hate doing overnights. I go home wash exfoliate and nap directly after.
